The magic of small databases

If I were a romance novelist
A mock up for a fictional romance novel I wrote called “Shade of Grey”. On the front cover there is a quote from among Dick: “Fantastic, sexy, cool …. I couldn’t stop touching myself!” The image on the front is a small circle window of two people kissing.

Holding onto the foundry
Emily, a white woman with orange short hair stands leaning against the wall with one hand. The image that surrounds her is a screenshot of the inside of Loughborough Bell Foundry. Littered with bell moulds and other equipment, Emily is superimposed (in low quality) over the image so it appears she is there, if a little too tall for it to be believable.

Dogs Solve Everything (Pretending to be a comic book artist?)
A comic book style piece. A man says “I don’t know who I am anymore, it’s like nothing makes me happy nowadays” with a bored expression. He says “maybe my brain is broken, I could go see a doctor?” “Or get a dog?”. A shot of him with the dog ends the piece, and the man is seen grinning saying “holy crap! it worked!”

Driving in my car
I have been on the road all day from 6am to now. I made 10 drawings and turned them into a tiktok video - as it was the only app I had but couldn't see how to post this so here is just one of the drawings. All the drawings are of my husband and son during the journey. The only thing I can say about being a different artist for the day is that generally during family time I quit being an artist which is saved for time when I am not with my family so this time I continued to interact with my family world as an artist.
