Pushing it further
I have been thinking about how to develop my prints further. I had an intaglio print on 40 cm x 40 cm 300 gsm Somerset White Velvet Paper. I cut out the shape and trimmed the sides to see what the plate might look like being a separate shape. Experimenting with composition and shape.

portable soft street furniture (remade)
black and white photo showing metal barriers at the end of an outdoor walkway. they're the type designed to slow you down - one after the other that you walk around. attached to the nearest one is a yellow shape. it is fixed to the rails of the barrier to create a bright yellow seat. it's not obvious that's what it is, as there's no one sitting in it, but it's better than the one I made a few days ago.

Yesterday’s work with a weave
A4 weaving with strips from two different works on paper, creating a grid. The vertical strips are from an abstract work (yesterday’s post) and the horizontal strips are mainly orange with 3 purple ones in the bottom half. The overall effect is a brightly coloured pixelated picture.

If the Shoe Fits
Pencil drawings of 3 feet appear on the page. The top foot is flat to the floor, side view and pointing to the right. It is towards the upper middle of the page. The next foot is viewed from the top, slightly angled to the left and placed towards the bottom right of the page. The final foot is a close up of just the toes, they're at a 3/4 angle and pointed to the left. It is placed at the bottom left corner of the page. Digitally imposed on top of each foot is a piece of antique or vintage footwear. They are a lace up boot, a shoe with a bow & a sandal respectively.

Cylinder Circle
