Assess This Space
On the left is a description of an installation, in the middle there is a photo of a group of people in a culvert & on the right there is text that says:- "Access to the urban culverted Sheaf & Porter rivers are limited to those who are physically able and want to experience it first hand. This installation envisions an immersive encounter for those who cannot directly experience the urban caving tours. Space between the net ’walls’ invites participants of all ages and abilities to engage in the installation by being in and passing through the projected moving image."

A figure drawn in black pen on paper and repeated so there are three in a row, evenly spaced. the figure is shown from the side and is holding a round yellow shape in its arm. the arm appears to pivot on a pin in the shoulder and is shown in three overlapping positions as if in movement. Each of the three figure versions shows the arm in the same three positions with the round yellow shape repeated three times. Day 21 - How?

Day 21
Acrylic and gouache. My dad was hugely inspired by Pepe Mujica. A former bank robber, revolutionary, a farmer and the 40th president of Uruguay. Pepe donated 90% of his salary to the poor. He was an outspoken critic of capitalism. He passed the same-sex marriage laws & legalised abortion. His government also legalised state-controlled sales of Marijuana. My dad would not stop talking about The War on Drugs! Legalise it. Tax it. Make it safe. 3 months after my dad was sectioned, he was released and the first thing he did was buy himself a ticket to Uruguay. Pepe was his hero. #restinrevolution

Jute Mill Meghalaya
I took this image of one of the largest factories of jute in Northern India. The workers in this Mill come from the whole of the surrounding area and it provides the families with the wherewithal with which to live. Most of us in Great Britain no longer live with the world of production and can only read of the living and working conditions which were commonplace during the last century. This photograph makes this world more accessible.
