I used to be a musician
Scratched lettering on a black background read “I used to be a musician” the words are hard to read as the scratched cutting is inconsistent. Underneath a musician plays on a stage surrounded by musical equipment.

Pamphlet on forests

it’s so big can’t think

Issues consolidating how to organise visual assets and projects, especially when he doesn’t know how to categorise them. Says that peers seem to think he’s good with this kind of thing and is no place to advise others on what to do.”

I took it seriously this time around
Many rectangular shapes of all varying lengths and sizes in mostly primary colours and different shades. In 4 of the shapes the words “Streamline your creative process” split up into 4 of them.

In bold all caps white font text reads “You wouldn’t ask for email contents that would be breaking GDPR law” reminiscent of the 90s piracy warnings on 90s DVD’s.

what if i dont recognise home when i see it
Textured image splits the square in half. An image of rolling fields placed at the bottom where above 3 birds fly. The art piece is modular with image and textures overlapping one another. Scattered about the piece is broken-up words that read “what if i don’t recognise home when i see it” an emphasis on the word home.

Boys in the barn [yeehaw]
A barn in minimal pinkish colours and really grainy. Upside-down text overlays the image taking up a large part of the sky and foreground.

I Need Less.

I am Al Hill
Double exposures of statues in a pantheon. The image is pink and white and soft. The statue in the background has chest surgery scars made with thread. Quilt textures have been ‘sewn’ onto the image and sewn stitches follow more defined lines. Text on the bottom left says “I am soft and safe. Come under my quilt I have made you a place.”

internally it's a bit backwards
A man with a beard’s head is scanned from under the nose and down. A subtle tile gives it a glitch effect. In each corner, there is one word that reads from left to right “Language processes fucking suck”.

Day 2
April Day
3 by 3 grid of squares containing individual elements from a scan. Square 1 contains "April 2". Square 2 is cream paper texture from the page. Square 3 says "97". Square 4 says "i3". Square 5 is a blue paper texture. Square 6 contains words on the other side of the page, the lettering is very faint and backward. Square 7 is lettering from a paragraph which is unreadable due to being cut off. Square 8 shows words "April day" in the left-hand side of the square. Square 9 has the single letter "h". At the bottom are two text boxes with quotes from Fletcher and "Two Gentlemen".
