A white piece of paper with a white background. The paper is creased and folded into a concertina, with one end stretched and the other restricted to form a truncated oval shape.

Day 17

A thin strip of orange paper, slightly wider at one end, with a white background. It is folded and creased into a concertina, the angle of the shot is low so the zig zag edge of the paper can be clearly seen.

Day 16

A triangular piece of cream coloured paper with a white background. The paper is folded and creased into a concertina, creating a shark fin shape.

Day 15

A deep purple piece of paper cut in a very long triangular shape, with a white background. Two thirds of the paper is creased and folded into a concertina. The paper is sitting up on it’s edge, balanced by the curve of the concertina.

Day 14

A rectangular piece of blue paper on a white background. The paper has been folded and creased into a horizontal concertina. The paper has been stretched and restricted in different places so the folds look slightly uneven.

Day 13

16 small pieces of white paper in a square formation with a green background. Each edge of every piece of paper is folded into the centre of the paper at an angle, creating repetitive shapes and shadows. The sun is shining on them creating sharp shadows.

Day 12

A white piece of paper cut into a parallelogram on a green background. The paper has been creased and folded into a concertina at either end. These ends have been curved inwards to join in the centre of the paper creating a mirrored shape.

Day 11

A concertina’d yellow piece of paper creating a backwards ‘J’ shape. The sun is shining on it creating sharp shadows.

Day 10

A square piece of white paper, resting on a green cutting matt, folded and creased into a concertina which rotates on a 45 degree angle to form an ununiform zig zag pattern.

Day 9

16 small pieces of yellow paper in a square formation with a white background. Each piece of paper has a creased curve through it, creating different shapes and shadows. The sun is shining on them creating sharp shadows.

Day 8

Numerous three dimensional pyramids scattered across a white piece of paper. The paper has an intricate geometric pattern in blue with dabs of gold through it. The structure of the folded pyramid also exposes the back of the origami paper which is gold.

Day 7

A triangular piece of white paper, two thirds creased into a concertina. The sun is shining on it creating sharp shadows.

Day 6

16 small pieces of peach paper in a square formation with a white background. Each piece of paper is folded in a single V pleat, creating different shapes and shadows. The sun is shining on them creating sharp shadows.

Day 5

A square piece of white paper folded and creased into a concertina which rotates on a 45 degree angle to form an ununiform zig zag pattern. The sun is shining on it creating sharp shadows.

Day 4

A yellow piece of paper cut into a parallelogram, sitting on a white background. The paper has been creased and folded into a concertina at either end, leaving a flat rectangular section in the centre. One side of the concertina is curved over the centre of the piece to make an angled ‘D’ shaped cylinder. The other side sits stretched out on the white paper.

Day 3

Two triangular pieces of white paper creased with vertical folds to form a concertina. One edge of each piece is resting next to the other. The concertinas are stretched and restricted in opposite ways to make two curves, so the pieces as a whole emulate an ‘S’ shape.

Day 2

Four thin vertical strips of white paper, each with one end cut at an angle to make a point, resting on a large grey piece of paper. Each piece of white paper sits parallel to the next, and has parallel folds creased into them to form a concertina. The sun is shining on them creating sharp shadows.
